Have you heard of Isla Mujeres (Women Island)? An island located 30 - 40 minutes away from Cancun. The only way to get there is by taking a ferry or a boat. Isla Mujeres is a Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea, 13 kilometers off the coast from Cancún. It's a vacation destination known for beaches such as northern Playa Norte, resort hotels and for snorkeling and scuba diving on the surrounding coral reefs. At Punta Sur, the southern tip, there's a lighthouse, the remains of a Mayan temple and a sanctuary for sea turtles.

You'll get to swim, snorkel and see the famous underwater museum, "Las Musas". Drive a golf cart for one hour and get to see the island and what it offers.
